Guests return year after year for the easy slope access in winter and direct proximity to hiking trails like Village to Village and Beaver Lake in the warmer months. Originally built in 1988 during Beaver Creek’s early growth, The Borders Lodge has remained a longtime favorite for families, ski trips, and mountain getaways. Guests can spend the day cruising groomed runs, exploring tree skiing, or taking lessons with the resort’s highly regarded ski school. With 150 trails, 26 lifts, and more than 3,000 vertical feet, Beaver Creek offers plenty of variety across the mountain. The Elkhorn Lift sits just outside The Borders Lodge, giving guests quick access to the slopes and the convenience of skiing directly back to the property at the end of the day. Afterward, many guests enjoy après-ski in the hot tubs as they relax and warm up before dinner in the village.

Summer in Beaver Creek brings hiking trails, mountain biking, golf, and outdoor dining throughout the valley. Popular trails near The Borders Lodge connect guests to scenic alpine terrain, while nearby golf courses and guided outdoor excursions make it easy to spend full days outside.
